To Leave a Mark
A printmaker originally from the Cherokee Foothills of North Carolina, Arthur treats the natural world in her works as an independent living force, not a backdrop for human events. She holds an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
Wendy Red Star
Rez Pop (Documenting the Rez Car & HUD Houses of Pryor, Montana)
Raised on the Apsáalooke (Crow) reservation in Montana, Red Star explores in her work the intersection of Native American ideologies and colonialist structures. She holds an MFA in sculpture from UCLA.
