Jennifer serves as Harvey Mudd College’s Associate Dean of Students and Title IX officer. She focuses on creating an inclusive campus through programming, training, creating strategic plans and partnerships in the Claremont community. Jennifer has worked in higher education and student affairs for over 10 years and has experience in diversity, inclusion, intercultural relations, cultural and transfer student centers. Jennifer sailed three times in various roles with Semester at Sea, most recently as the Assistant Executive Dean of the Fall 2019 voyage. She received her BS from Loyola University Chicago with a triple minor in Spanish, women’s studies, and literature. Jennifer also received an MA in arts, entertainment, and media management from Columbia College Chicago and an MEd in educational policy organizational leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She completed a Doctor of Education (EdD) in higher education and organizational change from Benedictine University. Jennifer has authored numerous articles and book chapters and has received numerous awards throughout her career.
