The CGU History department will be celebrating CGU’s 100th anniversary on Saturday, September 6 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm in the Academic Computing Building 214 on the CGU campus. Faculty member Dr. Matthew Bowman will be speaking on “What Alien Abduction Can Tell Us About The 1960s,” based on his recent book titled The Abduction of Betty and Barney Hill: Alien Encounters, Civil Rights, and the New Age in America.
A few of the department’s graduate students will also share an update on their research projects. The entire faculty will be present and we hope to see as many alumni, students, staff, and community members gathered in community for this centennial event.
Please mark your calendar for this gathering and share the information widely. The RSVP link will be available in early August.
