The staff and faculty of the Claremont Colleges are invited to an Information Session to learn about Claremont Graduate University’s new Allies of Dreamers Certificate Program.
The first of its kind in the nation, CGU’s Allies of Dreamers Certificate Program provides student affairs professionals in higher education with the historical context, theoretical framework, and specific knowledge needed to offer mentorship and advocacy for Dreamers and other undocumented students. More generally, the Program will enhance higher education professionals’ expertise related to diversity and community engagement.
The 8-unit program can be completed in just two semesters. Applications are being accepted now for the inaugural Fall 2017 class.
Personnel from the Claremont Colleges might be able to use tuition remission benefits to cover the cost of tuition. Interested parties should come to the information session on June 23 and verify benefit details with their HR Department.
