Spring 2022 New Student Orientation: Online

Kick-Off Session
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

We are excited to kick off New Student Orientation on Tuesday, January 11! We will open this event with welcome remarks from President Len Jessup. President Jessup will then introduce our keynote speaker CGU alumna and doctoral candidate Pilar Tompkins Rivas (MA, Cultural Studies, ’18), chief curator and deputy director of curatorial and collections at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.

We will conclude the hour with an optional Q&A session hosted by New Student Orientation representatives.

Resource Sessions
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Part of New Student Orientation (NSO) is connecting you with resources that will support your academic journey at CGU. During the registration process, you will be asked to select one of three engaging resource sessions to attend virtually on Tuesday, January 11. International Student Orientation will also be held during this time.

Academic Department Sessions
All Day

One of the most exciting parts of New Student Orientation is meeting faculty, staff, and other students from your academic department. Virtual academic department sessions will be scheduled at various times during the afternoon on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Content for the department sessions will vary.

Visit the New Student Orientation page for more information about your department’s session time.
