CGU’s Art Department are proud to present Linda Besemer as our Visiting Artist Lecturer on April 5, 2023 at 4:30 in Burkle Building Room 12.
Linda Besemer’s recent paintings of glitched screens mix analog and digital to interrupt the signals of the dominant media. Her prior work “Detachable Stroke”and the “Fold” series interrupt the process of painting. She has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally. She has been an esteemed painting, drawing and gender studies teacher at Occidental College since 1987. Please join us in welcoming Linda Besemer on April 5 at 4:30 in Burkle 12!
