Tim Kirley Chosen as Chair of the University’s Board of Trustees

Financial services executive and CGU Trustee Tim Kirley has been named as the new chair of the university’s Board of Trustees.

A member of the university board since 2014, Kirley succeeds Mike Rossi, who served as board chair for five years.

The board voted in favor of Kirley’s appointment during its regular meeting held earlier this month on campus.

The managing principal of Edward Jones Canada, Kirley has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.

Kirley started off with Edward Jones in the 1990s as a financial adviser in Michigan. He rose through the ranks of the company on a demonstrated record of internal management, innovation, and investment strategy.

Kirley holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
