Drucker School’s MS in Finance Ranks #18 Nationally and #3 in the West in TFE Times 2026 Rankings
The Master of Science in Finance program at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University has been ranked #18 nationally in the TFE Times 2026 Best Master’s of Finance Programs. The ranking places the program #3 among institutions in the Western United States and the highest-ranked graduate-only institution on the list.
The recognition marks continued momentum for the MS in Finance, which moved up from #20 nationally last year.
A West Coast Leader in Finance Education
Within the Western region, the TFE Times ranking places the Drucker School alongside institutions such as USC, UC Irvine, Arizona State University, and the University of Utah. Among these peers, Drucker stands out as the only graduate-focused institution — reflecting Claremont Graduate University’s distinct model of advanced, specialized education.
“For a graduate-only institution, recognition like this affirms the strength of a focused model,” said Dean David Sprott. “Our Master’s in Finance program is built to provide analytical rigor, close faculty engagement, and real-world preparation. We’re proud to see that approach recognized nationally.”
Strong Career Outcomes for the Class of 2025
The MS in Finance program pairs academic rigor with professional preparation. For the Class of 2025, 80% of graduates seeking employment secured full-time roles within six months of graduation.
Graduates entered roles such as:
- Quantitative Analyst
- Staff Auditor
- Finance & Accounting Specialist
Recent employers include:
- MUFG Bank
- Esco Technology
- Haas & Dawe
- Residents Medical
These outcomes reflect the program’s emphasis on applied finance, analytical depth, and alignment with industry expectations.
Built for Depth and Professional Preparation
Designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals, the MS in Finance offers:
- AACSB accreditation
- Curriculum aligned with the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge
- STEM designation, enabling eligible international students to pursue extended OPT
- Completion in as little as one year of full-time study

Grounded in the Drucker School’s broader philosophy of responsible management, the curriculum integrates technical financial training with a deeper understanding of finance’s role within organizations and society.
Broader Recognition Across Graduate Business Programs
In addition to the finance ranking, the Drucker School’s MBA program was ranked #58 nationally in the TFE Times 2026 Best MBA Programs, placing #30 among private institutions and again as the top-ranked graduate-only institution in its category.
“These rankings reflect the consistency of our graduate business programs,” Sprott added. “Whether students pursue specialized finance training or the broader MBA, they benefit from an environment intentionally built for advanced, graduate-level study.”
