Drucker School Application Deadlines for 2027: How to Apply

The 2027 application for the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management is open as of August 31. You can now apply to our MBA, master’s, and doctoral programs for 2027, and the deadlines for every 2027 term are below.

We are Michael Mirabella and Gigi Audoma, the Drucker School’s Directors of Recruitment. For most people who consider Drucker, we are the first two people they talk to, and we stay with them from that first conversation through the day they submit. Between us, we have spent more than four decades in higher education admissions, and we have come to believe one thing above all: a strong application begins long before the form does. It begins with a conversation, and with real reflection about what you want.

When Can You Apply and What Are the 2027 Deadlines?

Drucker admits students across several terms, and the terms open to you depend on your program. Where you have a choice, aim for the priority deadline. It gives the strongest consideration for scholarships and aid, leaving you the most time to prepare well. The 2027 dates:

International applicants face earlier final deadlines, which leave room for visa processing.

Module 2 is a second start point within a term for those who need a little more time. Because start terms vary by program, check with us about which terms are open for the one you want. Class start dates are based on the official CGU academic calendar.

How Should You Plan the Months Leading up to Your Deadline?

A strong application is rarely written in a weekend, though it need not be an ordeal. Working back from your target deadline, we recommend this rhythm:

• Three months out. Begin with a conversation. Please tell us where you are and what you are weighing, and we will help you settle on the right program and term before you write a word.
• Two months out. Gather your transcripts and any test scores, and give yourself ample time to consider what you want this degree to make possible. That reflection shapes everything that follows.
• One month out. Draft the applicant questionnaire, ask a recommender if you plan to include one, and prepare for your interview. Leave room to revise.
• Deadline week. Submit earlier in the day rather than at the last minute. A complete file moves you into review and then into an interview.

Why Start with a Conversation Instead of the Form?

For most people, we are the first faces they meet at Drucker, and we take that seriously. Our work is to help you build a strong application, and to guide you from your first question to your final submission.

Reaching out early does two things. It gives you time to weigh Drucker against other programs, which sharpens your sense of what you actually want, and it gives us time to help you tell your story before any deadline pressure. What Are We Really Looking For?

Applicants often ask whether they are “competitive enough.” That is not the word we would choose. Drucker sets no score cutoffs and no GPA minimums. We read every application in full, and we interview everyone who completes one. What we are trying to understand is both simpler and harder than a number: whether you are ready. Can you tell us who you are, what you value, and how this degree serves the goals you are pursuing?

A Drucker Way to Think about Your Decision

Peter Drucker taught that managing others begins with managing yourself, and that managing yourself begins with a few plain questions. What are my strengths? How do I do my best work? What do I value? What do I want to be remembered for?

Those questions are also the best preparation for this application. Our applicant questionnaire, Drucker’s version of the admissions essay, is deliberately short, and short is the harder form to write. It rewards people who have already thought. So sit with Drucker’s questions before you open the form. The clarity you find there is what the questionnaire and the interview are built to surface.

What Are the 2027 Priority Deadlines?

Spring 2027: November 1, 2026. Summer 2027 and Fall 2027: February 1, 2027. Final deadlines vary by term and applicant type; the table above lists them all.

Are Applications Reviewed on a Rolling Basis?

Yes. The earlier you complete your file within a term, the more flexibility we have to help you, so aim for the priority date when you can.

Do I Need to Submit a GMAT or GRE Score?

Test scores are optional or waivable for many Drucker programs. Ask us about your specific program.

Does Drucker Require Letters of Recommendation?

They are no longer required. If you choose to submit one, the strongest comes from a supervisor who knows your work well.

Is Every Applicant Interviewed?

Yes, everyone who completes an application. It is the part of the process we value most.
