Governance and operational responsibility is overseen by dedicated bodies established to manage the complexity of the partnership process:

• The Academic Stewardship Committee (faculty-led) is tasked with evaluating academic integrity, program alignment, and faculty-related implications of the proposed partnership.
• The Deans and Directors Working Group on Academic Redesign began developing models for CGU’s future academic portfolio, including program consolidation, innovation, and alignment with partnership opportunities.
• The Transaction Oversight Office was created to coordinate administrative workstreams, ensuring disciplined execution, timeline management, and cross-functional alignment.
• The Trustee Transition Committee, a subcommittee of the Strategic Planning Committee, assumed responsibility for board-level oversight of the transaction, including fiduciary review and governance considerations.
• The Leadership Committee, composed of CGU and Pomona senior leaders, provides executive direction, decision-making authority, and institutional alignment throughout the due diligence process.
