CarlyWill Sloan is an assistant professor in the Department of Economic Sciences. Her areas of expertise are labor economics, the economics of crime, and the economics of discrimination. Her goal as a researcher is to use quasi-experimental methods to understand the sources of social inequities. Much of Sloan’s research aims to measure how key law enforcement officers exhibit racial bias and contribute to racial disparities.
