Chaise Jung (she/her) serves as an assistant director of admissions for Claremont Graduate University (CGU), overseeing admissions and recruitment for the School of Educational Studies. As both a scholar and administrative professional, she is passionate about social justice, equity, and fostering higher education as a space that promotes societal critique and growth.

Jung holds an MA in cultural anthropology with a specialization in psychological anthropology from Washington State University and a BA in anthropology from Texas Tech University. Jung has an extensive research background in both quantitative and qualitative methods and conducted original research studies around the world—primarily in the Kingdom of Tonga, Jordan, and Ecuador.

Prior to joining CGU, Jung worked at Central Washington University as a learning commons program manager overseeing the university’s peer assisted learning (PALs) supplemental instruction program. Additionally, she has taught undergraduate seminar courses aimed at equipping students with strategies for college success. During her free time, Jung enjoys traveling with her family and being home with her dogs.
