Christine Kelly is director of the Career Development Office at Claremont Graduate University. Kelly has held full- and part-time positions at a mid-size state university, several small liberal arts colleges, and a community college. Her most recent appointment was at Otterbein University in Ohio. Kelly transitioned into career services for graduate students in 2008.

Kelly’s background gives her insight into both the academic and nonacademic job search process that can be beneficial to students in their job search. With a deep understanding of the challenges of the academic market and those faced by PhDs entering business/industry, Kelly has helped hundreds of graduate students explore their career options and make successful career transitions. With 20 years of experience in teaching public speaking and interviewing skills, Kelly is an expert in helping student job seekers hone presentation and interview skills.

Kelly received her PhD in Communication from Purdue University in 1991.
