Portrait of Jake Campbell

Jake Campbell is the senior assistant director of admissions and veteran outreach at Claremont Graduate University. In addition to overseeing recruitment and admissions for the Center for Information Systems & Technology and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, he is responsible for the development and implementation of programming in support of student and alumni veterans across The Claremont Colleges.

A military veteran, Campbell served on active duty with the United States Coast Guard from 2007 to 2012. During his time as a flight mechanic, avionics technician, and program manager, he performed search and rescue, homeland security, and environmental protection missions as part of a helicopter response team.

A CGU Ahmanson Veterans Scholar, Campbell holds an MA in Public Policy (2015) and is a PhD candidate in Political Science, with concentrations in Public Policy and Research Methods. He also holds a master of public administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a BA in political science from Humboldt State University.
