Jeremy Byrum

Jeremy Byrum has been serving as the junior advancement writer in the Office of Development & External Relations at Claremont Graduate University since 2018. Reporting to the director of corporate and foundation relations, he aids in composing and editing documents pertaining to organizational philanthropy, including grant proposals, stewardship reports, and general letters to diverse audiences—among other responsibilities. He also assists the Marketing & Communications team in writing and editing university publications, such as those online and within the Flame magazine.

His other duties in Advancement include identifying prospects for varied program and event support, including sponsorships, external fellowships, and related fields.

He previously worked at Azusa Pacific University’s writing center as a graduate writing coach. He holds a bachelor of arts in English literature and language from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a master of arts in English from Azusa Pacific University.
