Tracy Gaolese (she/her) is an assistant recruiter at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in information systems and technology with a concentration in data science and analytics and AI. With a diverse background in data science, human resources, and educational technology, Tracy brings a unique, globally informed perspective to student engagement and recruitment.
Before joining CGU, Tracy worked as a Data Science Multimodal Expert at Outlier AI, developing AI-driven solutions across text, image, and audio domains. She also served as a program analyst at Michigan Technological University, where she aligned business analytics curricula with industry needs. Earlier in her career, she led e-learning platform sales at Chamrun Digital Agency in Malaysia and designed performance systems for hospitals in India. Her work has been recognized with the Bes t Student Paper Award at the 2023 MBAA International Conference in Chicago and an industry accolade from Nokia for mobile app development in Malaysia.
Tracy holds a master’s degree in data science from Michigan Technological University and a master’s degree in human resource development from India. She is passionate about using data and technology to improve access to education, empower diverse communities, and advance equity in STEM.
