GSC Alumni Fireside Chat with Dr. Clark Rucker, Drucker School of Management Executive MBA ’96

The Graduate Student Council is partnering with the CGU Alumni Association to bring alumni back to Claremont to share their wisdom with the CGU community. The purpose of this event is to learn from Dr. Clark Rucker to help advance your professional development. Participate in an interactive conversation with Dr. Clark Rucker and fellow peers and learn about their life lessons and how that can advance your personal career journey. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights about their own potential career paths while building their professional networks.

Students of all disciplines, alumni, faculty, staff, and prospective CGU students are invited to attend.

About Dr. Clark Rucker:
Before retiring in August 2022, Clark Rucker was the Director of the Phantom Works Quality organization within Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS). In this role, Rucker lead the overall strategy, program integration, management and personnel development of the Phantom Works Quality organization across the Boeing Company. He reported to the Vice President of Total Quality and was a member of the Phantom Works Leadership Team. Rucker received two Global Diversity & Inclusion awards for his volunteer work as the Boeing Black Employees Association and Boeing Employees Veterans Association Vice President and his work as the HB Site GD&I Champion won him the prestigious BDS S&OC Diversity Leadership Award in 2014. He is the immediate past Chair of the Cal Poly College of Engineering, Deans Leadership Board, Boeing Deputy Executive to Cal Poly Pomona University & Alumni Relations group, Vice President of the Black Alumni & Friends Chapter of the CPP Alumni Association, Boeing advisor to the Mt. San Antonio College STEM Advisory Committee, Member of the Mt. SAC Foundation, Board of Directors Sigma Pi Phi Professional Mens Fraternity, Vice President of the Walnut Valley Education Foundation, President of the Walnut Unified School District Bond Committee, and President of the Diamond Bar High Magnificent 7 Families have earned him numerous awards and recognitions over the years including most recently, the Cal Poly Pomona, 2017 College of Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award, 2019 CPP College of Engineering Hall of Fame Induction, and 2023 Honorary Doctorate from the College of Science. Since Retirement in 2022, Rucker has spent much of his time mentoring college students helping them begin their Career Journey. His passion for students, faculty, and administration at the college level has been his driving force and has ultimately led him to a high success rate of students landing their career starting positions at the companies they desire.
