Managing Anxiety in Graduate School

Join this session on effectively managing anxiety as a graduate student. This session is especially important for student leaders and mentors.

Facilitated by Nirmala Gratton, LMFT and Psychotherapist, this session will explore:

What is anxiety and when to seek help
Managing common issues faced by grad students:
Imposter syndrome – challenging negative self talk
Work Life Balance- setting boundaries knowing when to say yes and when to say no
Burn out – increasing self compassion/ mindfulness
Included in the session there will be a progressive muscle relaxation and a brief mindfulness exercise.
