Drucker School’s Name in Lights—in Shanghai
Claremont Graduate University (CGU) and the Drucker School of Management will be featured for 48 continuous hours on one of the largest and most spectacular video screens in the world March 25 and 26.
For the second time since 2014, the CGU and Drucker School names and CGU’s flame logo will be displayed on the massive 42-story LED screen on the face of the Shanghai Citigroup Tower in the heart of the Shanghai financial district.
“This display is truly spectacular,” said Jenny Darroch, the Henry Y. Hwang Dean of the Drucker School and a Professor of Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Marketing. “What a compelling visual to showcase our programs and how they are geared to provide insight into successful management approaches for the 21st century.”
CGU and the Drucker School invite alumni and friends living in or around Shanghai to share photos of the display with us on social media by using #DruckerShanghai.
CGU was granted use of the display as a gift from the Gang Ding Family. The university thanks Gang Ding, Frank Lin, and First Global International Group Co. Ltd. for their generosity. Drucker School alumnus John Xiang Ding (MBA, 2016) assisted CGU with the design and translation of the display.
Drucker Dean Darroch will be on hand March 25 for the launch of the display and will be hosting an alumni and prospective student reception at 6:00 pm, March 26, at:
No. 565, Zhongshan dong er Road, Huangpu District
(next to Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund)
Those interested should RSVP to the event.
