Linfield University’s Finance VP Joins CGU as New CFO

NEW LEADERSHIP: Mary Ann Rodriguez joins CGU as its new chief financial officer.

In a message to the CGU community, President Len Jessup announced this week the selection of Mary Ann Rodriguez as new chief financial officer.

“She was very highly recommended by the search committee,”Jessup’s message said, “and she was terrific in my interactions with her as well. We are all very excited to have her join us. Please join me in welcoming Mary Ann to CGU.”

Rodriguez joins CGU from Linfield University, a private university in Oregon where she served as vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer since 2013.

She was responsible for oversight of the financial management components of the university including at the McMinnville and Portland campuses and with the online and continuing education program. Previously she served as vice president, administration and finance at CSU Dominguez Hills.

Jessup’s message also said that Rodriguez holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Calstate Long Beach and an MBA from Calstate Dominguez Hills and has completed professional training at the Harvard Institute of Educational Management.

In addition to her work at the university, she has been actively involved in the local community, serving in roles with the Chamber of Commerce and Gospel Rescue Mission in McMinnville, Oregon.
