It’s never too soon to begin planning for your career.
Many CGU graduates seek jobs in academic settings, while others bring the advanced degrees they earn here to benefit employers in business, industry, nonprofits and government. No matter where you want to go, CGU offers programs to help you get there.
The goal of the Career Development Office (CDO) is to empower you and give you the tools you need to achieve your career goals, whether it’s your first career-level position, a transition to a new career, or a move up the ladder. CDO offers workshops on a variety of professional development topics both in person and online, and features a dedicated staff who understand the employment issues facing advanced degree holders and are available to meet with you individually to tailor a plan to your specific needs.
The Preparing Future Faculty program (PFF) helps you become an inclusive leader of teaching and learning, connecting you with like-minded faculty who seek to build excellence and foster inclusivity in teaching. The PFF office helps you develop pedagogical knowledge and skills, whether you are new to teaching or are an experienced educator interested in continuing to grow. We offer workshops, courses, teaching clinics, and individual consulting on all aspects of teaching and learning.
