Drucker School’s MBA Rises in 2026 U.S. News Rankings
The Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University has risen in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report rankings, with its full-time MBA program climbing five places to No. 92 nationally, reinforcing its position among graduate business programs in Southern California.
The improvement reflects continued momentum for the school’s full-time MBA, designed for early-career and experienced professionals seeking to build a strong foundation in management. The program integrates analytical thinking with a broader understanding of management as a discipline, emphasizing not only technical capability but the ability to make sound decisions in complex organizational environments. The program is part of a broader portfolio of MBA programs at the Drucker School, designed to serve both early-career professionals and working leaders across Southern California.
“At Drucker, we focus on developing managers who can think clearly, act responsibly, and lead with purpose,” said Dean David Sprott. “The movement in this year’s rankings reflects the strength of a program that combines analytical rigor with a human-centered approach to management—preparing graduates to navigate complexity rather than simply react to it.”
Within California, the Drucker School ranks No. 4 among private business schools included in the U.S. News full-time MBA rankings, placing it alongside institutions such as Stanford, USC, and Chapman. In the Western United States, it ranks No. 5 among private graduate business schools, reinforcing its position within a highly competitive regional landscape.
As a graduate-only institution, Claremont Graduate University is structured entirely around advanced study. That focus shapes the MBA experience at Drucker—from small, discussion-driven classes to close faculty engagement—creating an environment where students are expected to engage directly with the challenges of management rather than study them at a distance.
That connection to practice is reflected in how Drucker students approach their work. Many enter the program while continuing in their professional roles, using the MBA not as a break from practice but as a way to examine it more closely—how they make decisions, how they lead others, and how they define effectiveness in their organizations. The emphasis is not simply on acquiring new tools, but on developing judgment: the ability to navigate complex situations where the right path is not always obvious.
Both the full-time MBA and Flex MBA programs can be completed in person, online, or in a hybrid format, providing students with the flexibility to engage deeply in the program while balancing professional and personal commitments.
In addition to its full-time MBA, the Drucker School’s Flex MBA continues to serve working professionals across the region and remains one of the top 10 part-time MBA programs in Southern California. With evening courses and a structure built to accommodate career progression, the program serves students throughout the Inland Empire and greater Los Angeles region.
Across formats, the Drucker School’s MBA programs remain grounded in a consistent approach: management is not only a technical skillset, but a practice shaped by how leaders make decisions, develop people, and define purpose within organizations.
The 2026 rankings mark an upward step for the full-time MBA—and continued progress for a program designed to meet the evolving demands of management.
