Student Health Services

Student Health Services (SHS) promotes the physical health and wellness of all students served by The Claremont Colleges. Well-trained doctors, nurse practitioners, and medical support staff provide full-service care, including laboratory and basic imaging, dispensary, and immunizations. Appointments scheduled in advance are offered at no charge to students. Labs, imaging, and limited prescriptions are available at reasonable fees.

Student Health Insurance

All students at CGU are required to show proof of health insurance coverage while enrolled at CGU. Waivers are only eligible for 1) domestic, permanent resident or undocumented students who have comparable coverage; 2) domestic, permanent resident or undocumented students who meet the enrollment criteria; or 3) international students whose SEVIS record is not held by CGU. Monsour Counseling

Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services (MCAPS) promotes psychological wellness for all students served by the The Claremont Colleges. Well-trained team psychologists, psychiatrists, and post-doctoral and intern therapists offer support for a range of psychological issues in a confidential and safe environment.

Health Education Outreach

Health Education Outreach (HEO) empowers students to make intentional healthy lifestyle choices by providing a supportive environment that nourishes all dimensions of personal health and well being. HEO provides relevant health support and resources to help students play an active role in achieving, protecting, and sustaining their health and wellness.
