It’s never too soon to begin planning for your career. The goal of the Career and Professional Development office (CPD) is to empower you and give you the tools you need to achieve your career goals, whether it’s your first career-level position, a transition to a new career, or a move up the ladder.
We offer workshops on a variety of professional development topics both in person and online. We have a dedicated staff who understand the employment issues facing advanced degree holders and are available to meet with you individually to tailor a plan to your specific needs.
Career planning is about more than just getting a job. It’s about the strategic decisions you make and the experiences you gain while at CGU to ensure you are well positioned to transition from here into the career you desire.
By investing in your career plan from day one at CGU, and working with the CPD office and the faculty and students in your department, you will begin to lay a strong foundation for your desired career outcomes as you move through your program and beyond.
